FAQ's About Our Mobility Programs
What does the initial mobility assessment involve?
The initial assessment allows the Movement Specialist to identify the what are the factors that are contributing to your current situation and limitations. It will include taking the time to listen to your story, health and fitness history and current activity and fitness level, understand your health and fitness goals right now and for the future, then a mobility assessment (looking at posture and seeing how you move/compensate), and custom mobility program planning to ensure you get the best results.
How long does a mobility session last?
The initial mobility assessment will last for one hour, most other return sessions will last 50-55 minutes. Please try and arrive 5 minutes before your appointment so we can register you and you can make the most out of your session.
How many sessions will I need?
On completion of the initial mobility assessment, you will be advised on the best mobility program that will help you achieve your goals and in the time you want.
What should I wear to my appointments?
Please ensure that you wear loose comfortable clothing in order your Movement Specialist to accurately observe your mobility and movement patterns.
Is there anything else that I need to bring to my appointment?
Please make sure you have filled out all the necessary intake forms that we will send to you to complete online, no printer needed. This allows us to maximize our time together.
Will I be given exercises to carry out at home?
It is important to build on the improvement that you have made during your mobility sessions, so your Movement Specialist may provide you with some exercises to do at home. However, this will depend on your individual needs and goals and will only be given if appropriate. We utilize easy to follow videos that you can access through our app, so you don't have to worried about being overwhelmed, forgetting what to do or a bunch or papers! We make it simple, easy and fun 🙂
Will I be able to contact my Movement Specialist between sessions?
Yes. At Perseverance, we understand the importance of developing a strong relationship with our clients. You can contact your Specialist with any questions, feedback or needs. We encourage texting, emailing or calling us, anytime. Even if it is to share and celebrate a recent win and improvement 🙂
How do I pay for my sessions?
You can pay for your mobility session by cash or card at the end of each session. We also have the option to save on our services with our Specialty Packages and Mobility Membership Program. You can easily pay online, through our app or in person. We make it easy for you to schedule and pay so we can spend more time and energy on you and reaching your goals!
